About Jenèt
Hi, I’m Jenet(rhymes with ballet, Renee)! I am a Certified Postpartum Doula, and a Lactation Educator, serving families in the North County, San Diego area. I was born and raised here, and love the sunny weather, beautiful beaches, military community, and rich ethnic diversity. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we are parents of seven wonderful children.
I have always been drawn to helping people-particularly other women. Before beginning my career as a doula, I was a fitness instructor, helping women of all ages and stages of life achieve their fitness goals, and prioritize their health. I have over 25 years of experience as a childcare provider, supporting families, and as a mother to seven children of my own, I’m very familiar with the sacredness of the time when a family welcomes a new baby, or babies into their world. The first days, weeks and even months can be a whirlwind physically and emotionally. I strongly believe in the importance of families feeling supported, respected, and well cared for during this vulnerable period, so you can focus on rest and bonding as a family.
